    Call Unbound Action from Type Script with Input and Output parameter

    Introduction

    To build custom PCF control we use React JS or Typescript. Sometimes we need to call an unbound action from PCF control where we don’t specify an entity. We also call these action as Global Action. In this blog, we have explained how to call an Unbound Action from TypeScript with an Input and an Output parameter.

    Solution with example:

    1. Create an Unbound action.

    2. Add steps, input and output parameter to it.

    1. Get Type of Input Parameter:
      We are using WebApi.online.execute to call action. We will need input parameters type for this action. To do this, go to “<add client url>/api/data/v9.1/$metadata” and find action, in this case new_UnboundAction.
